Periods of History Teach Us of God's Plan

Elder L. Tom Perry of the Quorum of the Twelve instructed a group of more than 800 single adults gathered at the Midvale Utah Union Fort Stake meetinghouse on Sunday, February 14, about things that can be learned from the different dispensations of the gospel. "Each dispensation seems to teach us some of the doctrines and principles we should follow in our lives," said Elder Perry.

Thats so true.  Each dispensation had a different portion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ revealed to them.  If you study the different prophets they had different things they had to overcome so God gave them further light and knowledge to be able to deal with the things that were new.  Now we are blessed to have the fullness of the Gospel, all things taught in all dispensations.
