Food poisoning strikes 1 in 4 Americans each year
    (AP)

AP - Next time you have a case of diarrhea that lasts a day or more, chances are better than 1 in 3 that it was food poisoning. As many as a quarter of Americans suffer a foodborne illness each year ? though only a fraction of those cases get linked to high-profile outbreaks like the recent salmonella-peanut scare, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

and once again " Please wash your hands and wear gloves before you make my burger!" I've worked in fast food ect.  for the 16 yrs .  this is the biggest problem next to improper food prep.  and temps ,contaminated cookwares and improper sanitation habits *looking at the redishpink bacteria in the dishwasher * and seeing employee's droping things on floor then pic them up and use them dirty !!!!
these are the major reasons why ppl get sick from fast food places . . . .  ppl lazy (kids who don't care) leaving product out ( not keeping temps correctly)  crosscontamination(cutting beef then cutting chicken with same knife or handling and not cleaning  area or hands) and ect.  also keeping making employees work while they are sick and need to be at home.  other than that product was contaminated before it was sent to the stores  (***Only major sickness or death will cause a recall -Only expressing My thought here ***)

Eating home and eating what you chose is the safest way to go. Eating out is a big risk, having worked in the industry I can tell you that you are eating poison virtually when you eat out.
