"Ponder and Pray" before Believing


Thao Yang, 22, doesn't know where he will be in the next few years. He believes it is up to the Lord. Yang is an elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he wants to go on a two-year mission for the Church. "I want to give other families the doctrine of Christ, so they know that whatever happens in their life, they have a chance to be better," said Yang.

Ponder and Pray is essential to lds doctrine. I don't believe or agree with the whole blind obedience thing it is not doctrinal we need to ensure we pray and receive confirmation.
