Elder Walter F. Gonzalez Counsels Hispanic Young Single Adults

Be bold in defending the gospel and the Church, Elder Walter F. Gonzalez of the Seventy counseled young single adults in a regional Hispanic fireside. He reminded the young adults that they—as Latter-day Saints and as Hispanic members—are in a minority.

That's nice. I wish they could also emphasize the importance of honesty. With the amount of illegal immigrants I think it is important to stress those issues.

True but our thinking is not the Lords thinking, and so it is not the way of the Church. What you address is political standing and so the church must not take a stand lest church interfere with State. Truly the only person that can say if we Are worthy is ourself

If the Church should not interfere with State then it shouldnt have no involvement in the whole gay marriage issue.
