Nearly 50
            murrieta teachers were saluted this week at the Crystal
            apple awards ceremony. more than 300 attended an event on
            sunday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints in
            murrieta. "teachers are among our most valuable resources,"
            tom smith, president of the murrieta stake, said in a
            statement. "the Church honors their dedication and
            example."
