I think we do feel that the Knowledge we can gain is right or correct.  But I don't think any lds member thinks they are perfect in that knowledge.

We feel the way to learn the things of God is from God.  Mostly we feel that Revelation is the only way to learn the truth.    Which in reality it is.   I'm sure most other churches believe to some extent that there teachings came from God,  so they would seem similar on the surface.   I would think most lds members would keep an open mind to other churches ideas, and why they feel the way do.  But most lds would/should interpret any teachings based off the teachings of Prophets and the scriptures.  Some ideas might go against that right away,  others might not.

Well, let's put it this way--we have a prophet who spoke with both God and Jesus Christ face to face, in person, and who was ordained by John the Baptist and Peter, James, and John.  He could be a liar, but literally millions of people have read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it, and the Lord has answered them that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God.  Since no other denomination even claims to have a prophet who has spoken with either God or Jesus Christ, or who even claims to have been ordained by the ancient apostles, the question is, why should we listen to them?  What can they possibly have to offer?
