I don't think the Lord may be pleased if we focus too much on our physical aspect.  I think unless there is a deformity or something related to health we should avoid plastic surgery.  The money could well be used to help someone in need.

There is nothing wrong with taking care of your physical aspect folks thats why we have so many extremely overweight single and married sisters in the church...some of them could well benefit of some lipo or other procedure to help them lose the weight.

I have to admit that at times I have been really tempted to do surgeries to make cosmetic changes to feel a little more confident.  For myself and because I want to always remain attractive to my husband.  I think that is always important.  And the world that we live in just becomes increasingly more and more focused on outward appearances.  Mainly driven by pornography IMO.  The expectations women have to live up to are just absurd.  It is a real problem and its sad that so many women feel the need to do these things.  I think it depends on the person and circumstances but when I have felt the need to do these things I have to remind myself that I sacrificed my body for my children.  I try to eat healthy and exercise and I have never had weight issues but like I said things are just never the same after having children.  Its just a fact of life.

The problem I see with these things is that they take our focus off of what is really important.  And I have thought to myself that changing appearances and dwindling age is just one of those things designed to humble us and help us to not to be vain or prideful.  Someone mentioned how some women should get lipo suction.  I really disagree with that.  And its disheartening to hear.  We live in a world where everything is based on instant gratification.  I think in some cases lips suction may/could help someone who has some real health issues but that person would still need to lead a healthy life style to maintain it.  But for the most part I really feel in my hear that this is not the way that HF intended for us to better ourselves.  Anything that is good for us usually requires work and that includes being healthy.  Men need to appreciate their women and women visa versa just the way they are and be a strength of encouragement and not a tool to bring down someones self image.  I would never judge someone who receives plastic surgery because I understand the pressure and the want/need to still feel desirable to the one you love.  But, I hope that this pressure will stop being put on men and women to live up to absurd fantasies.  I am grateful to be with someone who wants to grow old with me and thinks I am beautiful just how I am.
