That is a valid question.   Some of the anit-Mormons I am acquainted with were excommunicated.  I asked two of them what replacement church they had located which had better answers to questions about where we came from, why are we here, and where are we going after death?

Neither of them had found a good replacement.  They are mainly obsessed with attacking and finding fault with the Church.   So I treat them respectfully.   They are children of god, we can pray for them.  Maybe some of them will eventually rethink the issue.

It is interesting that the faults they pointed out to me can be succesfully answered, but they don't want to allow me to a chance to do it.

contention is of Satan.
Everybody seems to think that contention is of the devil, but that is not what the scripture says.  It actually says that it is the spirit of contention that is of the devil, not contention itself.  In fact, there are scriptures that actually command us to contend in certain circumstances, but those are scriptures that never get quoted in Church.  It seems that there are some scriptures that always get quoted in Church and others that are always ignored and never quoted in Church.
