Full House Didn't Distract Grad from Earning Full Ride to UW


Church member and Kelso senior Daryl Moore has to stop and think about how many brothers and sisters he has. "I have a tendency to lose track," he said. That’s because Daryl’s parents take in foster children in addition to their seven biological children and one adopted child. Despite these challenges, Daryl has managed to get perfect grades and a full ride in scholarships to the University of Washington. He was one of 147 seniors statewide to earn the Washington Scholars Award, which "paid for a huge chunk," he said.
