Best lds quotes

"We, [the Lord's] daughters, need to know that He loves us. We need to know that He sees the good in us. Feeling His love encourages us to press forward, reassures us that we are His, and confirms to us that He cherishes us even when we stumble and experience temporary setbacks. . .   "Our Heavenly Father loved us before we came to this earth. I know that He loves us, sisters, as does His Son, Jesus Christ. That love will never change--it is constant. You can rely on it. We can trust it.  "Just as the motto of Relief Society reminds us that 'charity never faileth,' we must believe that the love of Christ will never fail us. All that we do in Relief Society should reflect the love of our Savior and the love of our Heavenly Father. This great love should be the source of our motivation to serve others. It must be both our point of origin and our destination!"

Joseph Smith:
Quote
A man filled with the love of God is not content to bless his family alone, but ranges through the whole world, anxious to bless the whole human race.

I love this quote--it helps me to remember there are so many other people out there that need light in their lives and sometimes we might be the only person that the Lord has for them that day.

I admit that I'm a little different.  :P but I love this: "Silence ye fiends of the eternal pit! In the name of Jesus Christ I rebuke you, and command you to be still; I will not live another minute and hear such language.  Cease such talk, or you or I die this instant!"- Joseph Smith to guards at Carthage jail, while in handcuffs and shackles.  It gives me chills(good ones).

hahaha I love that one too. . . well, the idea of why he said it isn't funny but the fact that he did was awesome and a little funny.

I found another one! Actually its right here on the website on the top right hand corner

"Don't try to tear down other people's religion about their ears, Build up your own perfect structure of truth, and invite your listeners to enter in and enjoy it's glories. " -- Brigham Young

Which I love cause its not about tearing down other people but living as an example.

One thing that drew me to this site was the quote they have displayed at the top,

"Don't try to tear down other people's religion about their ears, Build up your own perfect structure of truth, and invite your listeners to enter in and enjoy it's glories. " -- Brigham Young

I just love that.

“Mormons can testify whether I am willing to lay down my life for a Mormon; If it has been demonstrated that I have been willing to die for a Mormon I am bold to declare before heaven that I am just as ready to die for a Presbyterian.  a Baptist or any other denomination. ” Joseph Smith
This quote tells a lot about Joseph Smith, and how he loved liberty, not only for himself, but for everyone.

“I am much afraid that schools will prove to be gates of hell unless they diligently labor in explaining the Holy Scriptures, engraving them in the hearts of youth.  I advise no one to place his child where the scriptures do not reign paramount.  Every institution in which men are not increasingly occupied with the word of God must become corrupt” Martin Luther.
Just turn on the TV and see how true this is today.
