Hi everyone!  I am excited about this forum--I did not get much time this week to post but am looking forward to it.   Since it is so dang cold out tonight I thought it would be a great time to catch up!  Of course, the positive thinking is, I could be in the village my husband is working in where it is 40 below!  :o

I am a sahm, 5 children and umpteen missionaries under our wing from being ward missionaries so long.   I am a convert of about 23 years.   I love lds doctrine and symbolism-such as imagery, number/letters, and symbols.   I am not intelligent with words to get some thoughts out but I do try to ponder and understand the things I am taught and read.

My biggest strength, I think, is in trying to let the spirit be my guide.   I am a firm believer that by listening to the spirit and obeying it we will eventually be led into the presence of the Lord, and I don't think that is reserved only for the elite, such as apostles and high office callings.   I think it happens more often than we know. . . and it is my ultimate goal in life.

That is funny because I actually thought of that as I was answering some of the topics--I am amazed at the count of posts other places and I know that it is because they started a lot longer ago than I did.  The other thing I love is, the topics are at a readable level for me.  As time goes it will be easier to be on top of them.  Thanks for the welcome.

PS--is there a spell check option anywhere?  LOL~!

No spell check option, at least not now. We wanted here to be more 'open' and 'free' from the regiment of the other Community so we did not put all those things in, and probably might not.

Just to let you know, I am using Firefox 3 and it has a built in spell checker. You might want to give it a try. I love it.
