Critics of All This

As I have broadcast this around most Mormon circles (including impartial circles towards the Church) I have gained a mixed reaction. Some do not like the name, some do not like the graphics, the map, the colors while others think it is a great idea, and so forth. In answer to many of these I posted some text in one Forum that I will also put here as an answer to what others may come up with:

Greetings. The game is free, I'm not charging for it. No one is paying me to do it. Lots of things can be found wrong about it, the colors aren't right, the map isn't right, the images aren't right or you can just play and see if it is fun.

The code for this game is actually public domain, I merely modified it, secured it (as it was enticing for hackers) and of course added the Mormon touch. So far no one here as actually played it, I know because only I can create accounts to play Wink. So whatever review you get is from someone who might just be looking at screenshots.

Save for the map and fighting pieces created by us, the other images were also found in a Google Image search as I did not have chance to create one yet. I can fix that later. Next, it is similar to risk, but there are many modifications in the game play and there will probably be more later, actually, the 'risk' idea was just to give people a feel for what it is about, maybe the name should change later too, but not for now.

Also, this is just a small part of many rpgs I run, I just like running games... See here. If you like games online then all of this will be of interest to you regardless to what you think about the Church, doctrine, God, Joseph, or Satan... that is not the issue here, at least not for me.... I'm just letting you know about these if you like online games. Thanks for allowing me to share it here.

Lastly, each game has its own support Board, you can ask any support questions you have about it there.

For those still griping I have changed the name to Mormon Wars thus making it free, unique, and independent. Also since all the pieces, map and rules are different it is similar to no other. Enjoy!
