Hundreds of volunteers participate in cleanup effort

fernley, Nevada - About 500 volunteers came out last Saturday to help neighbors who were affected by a recent flood in Fernley. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints wore bright yellow T-shirts and worked almost all week removing carpet and sheetrock from homes. One member simply said it was part of the Church's mission to serve "whenever and however we can."
